Digest #10: May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month: Turning Awareness into Action
As I was planning for May, I kept coming back to this thought: Mental health is health.
Our mental health is a tremendous part of our overall wellbeing, and how we experience every day life.
I love this year’s theme about action and I fundamentally believe it's about breaking stigma and creating real pathways for support, research and change.
This month, in addition to unBurnt specific programming, I wanted to also round up a few free tools and resources that may be helpful.
The Endurant Movement: Advocating for deeper research between autism, mental health and suicide prevention.
Mental Health America's Free Guide: 31 tips to Boost your personal mental health.
CDC Mental Health Resources: A resource directory to crisis hotlines and to mental health providers.
The Endurant Movement Free Upcoming Event about supporting the wellbeing of youth & teens on May 7th (Virtual and IRL Solana Beach, CA).
Whether your joining an event or simply making space for yourself, May is a reminder that small steps lead to big shifts.
If I can be helpful in pointing you in the direction of the right resource for you, connecting you to someone in my network, or be a sounding board for a virtual coffee chat, please don't hesitate to reach out.
All my best,
Alison
