You’re Not Failing
You’re carrying more than anyone was built to carry.
Your job is constantly changing, the household runs on what’s in your brain, the kids keep you busy nights and weekends, and the news cycle doesn’t stop. unBurnt is for people who are tired of being exhausted, with recovery practices that stands up in real life.
For People
Sound
familiar?
Modern Day Stressors. Always On.
You get through the workday and have nothing left for the people you came home to.
You’re working harder to feel safe in a job that feels less certain every quarter.
You know what would help (rest, friends, an actual break) and can’t find the time or the energy.
Every AI update is one more thing you’re supposed to learn on top of the job you already have.
You’re the one who remembers everything at home, and it lives in your head.
You’re the glue at work, except no one sees what’s what not in the job description.
What our research found
86%
of working professionals report moderate to high burnout.
Not a motivation problem. A design problem.
unBurnt + Bentley University Center for Health and Business. n=544, 15 industries, April 2026.
It feels like a lot, because it is.
What's stacking up.
The job keeps changing. Expectations are increasing. Home didn't get any lighter. The news keeps coming.
Hybrid work made the day more fragmented and more isolating.
AI is changing roles faster than anyone can absorb.
Caregiving responsibilities are misaligned with the corporate workday.
Layoffs and economic uncertainty sit in the background of all of it.
Each layer keeps you going and raises what’s asked of you, all while shrinking the time and energy you have to recover.
The system is the problem. You still need relief now.
We don’t think you should have to fix a system that’s breaking you. We also know the system won’t change by Friday. So we work at both levels: naming the conditions that are draining you, and building practical ways to recover capacity inside the life you actually have. These are recovery tools, not a self-improvement project.
It's still structural.
Unclear expectations, including about AI, are among the strongest burnout predictors in our research. That's design, not character.
- How work is set up. Roles, meetings, AI pace.
- Your habits. Stress signals, recovery.
It's compounding.
Modern stressors set off the threat response. Rest drops first, so the next round starts more depleted.
- Modern stressors. Uncertainty, layoffs, AI.
- Threat response. The brain reads it as danger.
- Reactive mode. Reacting replaces deciding.
- Rest drops first. Breaks get fragmented, and the next round starts more depleted.
Interrupting the pattern is the first step.
When you’re depleted, connection, rest, and recovery are the first things to go. They’re also the things that would refill you. Burnout doesn’t just wear you out. It takes the remedies off the table.

The Capacity Collective
Three 45-minute live sessions with other working parents who get it. Starts Dec 2.
Built by someone who’s been there
Nearly twenty years in corporate roles, a burnout-driven health scare, and a lot of people quietly telling me the same story. I built this because it didn’t exist.
